KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Adult Ministry Assistant supports the effective execution of the Re:Generation and Re|Engage programs at Grace Chaska by managing administrative, logistical, and communicative tasks. This role involves overseeing program materials, scheduling, participant and volunteer communications, and facilitating weekly operations. This position will also serve as a primary contact for new participants and assist with broader Adult Ministry initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Manage the purchasing and selling of Re:Generation & Re|Engage books.
Manage Re:Generation & Re|Engage groups on CCB (including attendance tracking).
Managing and communicating the schedules of ReGen & ReEngage.
Have a physical presence at Re:Generation & Re|Engage as needed.
Printing and putting together training and class materials.
Oversee and facilitate the check-in process.
Facilitate the set-up of meeting spaces each week.
Create and send weekly email communication to Re:Generation & Re|Engage participants.
Create and send weekly e-mail communication to Re:Generation & Re|Engage volunteers.
Create and send bi-weekly email communication to Re:Generation Mentors.
Schedule and order monthly meals for volunteers.
Serve as the primary contact during the intake process for people wanting to get connected to Re:Generation Re|Engage at Grace Chaska.
Assist with other duties as assigned to help execute Adult Ministry at Grace Chaska.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
Experience: 2+ years of experience in administration.
A willingness to become familiar with the ministries of Re:Generation & Re|Engage.
Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20).
A willingness to become a member of Grace Church, regularly and consistently attending the weekend worship services and participating in the life of the church.
Has demonstrated skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, the congregation and others, within a team environment.
Has demonstrated a spiritual capacity and heart willingness to view this ministry as a being a ministry unto the Lord, by serving the body of Grace Church.
Compatibility with the Grace Church Mission, Vision, Values, and Priorities and a lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian Ministry.
Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer times.
