The Resident Services Strategy and Support Division (SSD) is seeking an Innovation and Change Advisor to join our creative and dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to support department goals and objectives through a range of activities including group facilitation, strategic planning, process improvement, change management, and other strategic and supportive processes.

The Strategy and Support Division’s primary customers include Hennepin County Elections, Service Centers, Assessors Office, Examiner of Titles, Recorder & Registrar of Titles Office, Property Tax, Surveyor’s Office, and the Business information Office. This position reports to the SSD Strategy and Change Manager.
Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Hennepin County Government Center 300 S 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487 and remote as job duties require. The hours are flexible within daytime hours, Monday through Friday. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position you will:
· Work collaboratively with a team to support department goals and objectives through facilitation, process improvement, strategic planning, change management, disparity reduction, and other department and division needs.
· Support projects that analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
· Assist with facilitating strategic planning efforts.
· Create tools and guides related to continuous improvement and change management.
· Support the development and implementation of change management plans and best practices that drive successful adoption of new processes and initiatives.
· Offer support to team members and customers on other projects and initiatives as needed.
· Apply diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices in efforts to reduce racial and other disparities.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o Six years or more of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
o Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or other field appropriate to the position and two years or more of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
