POSITION TITLE: Kitchen Support
STATUS: Part Time (25-29 hours/week (M-F) - exact hours TBD); Non-Exempt REPORTS TO: Food Services Supervisor

The kitchen support staff performs various routine tasks under the direction of the Kitchen Manager to include student interaction and support, kitchen setup/takedown, cashiering, and stocking food items.
Assist students with point of sale (POS) transactions including adding money to accounts.
Wash tables after each lunch period.
Assist with food preparation and serving.
Daily restock of the kitchen.
Clean the lunchroom and kitchen to ensure compliance with health department standards.
Support other kitchen staff as needed including adhoc requests and projects from the Kitchen Manager or Director of Operations.
High school graduate or GED.
Demonstrated team player and the ability to learn and perform in a fast paced environment.
Strong organization, scheduling, and planning skills, combined with creativity and initiative.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to perform computer related tasks (cashiering, emails, etc.).
Strong customer service skills and ability to quickly problem solve.
Ability to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive student account information.
Willingness to become food safety certified.
Christian faith; demonstrated character of integrity; solid knowledge of God’s Word; vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Evidence of the fruit of the Spirit in dealing with people.
Acknowledge Christ as Savior and seek to live his/her life as His disciple; participate in a local Bible-believing church.
Believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God, our standard for faith and practice. Maintain a Christ-centered home.
Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
Demonstrate a desire for spiritual growth as evidenced by his/her prayer life, Bible study, and spiritual outreach.
Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others. This includes being committed to God’s biblical standards for sexual conduct. Luke 6:40.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 30 pounds.
