This position has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
Our Project Selection Coordinator position will provide professional planning and coordination for the implementation, assessment, improvement, and legislative reporting on MnDOT’s project selection policy. This includes serving as the lead for the development of new updates or legislative change proposals on the policy, as well leading any technical changes to the guidance document that implements the policy. This position will serve as the agency’s expert on the project selection policy and is expected to facilitate proactive engagement with both internal and external interests to ensure MnDOT’s successful fulfillment of the policy.

Here are the minimum qualifications:
Two years of advanced professional transportation planning experience that demonstrates the following:
Experiencing applying planning principles, methods, and techniques.
Experience leading planning programs, projects, or processes.
Experience leading internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, Political Science substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
