NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art multicultural, community-based medical and dental clinic is seeking a Radiology Front Desk Coordinator to assist with the daily workflow of multiple imaging services. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working with the public, has strong communication skills, and a desire to help others while serving the community.
Location and hours:
This position is located at the NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center at 2220 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411. Work hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Based on current requirements hires must live in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
In this position, you will:
Schedule guest's appointments by telephone and in person, respond to rescheduling requests, and initiate appointment reminders.
Interview guests to obtain demographic information, verify and update guest information and create guest accounts with accurate insurance information.
Greet guests on arrival and instruct patients as needed.
Arrange and provide interpreter services for guests.
Monitor and work front desk appointment referral orders.
Schedule transportation services for guests with scheduled appointments
Monitor guests in the waiting room to facilitate efficient patient flow.
Deal effectively with guest needs and complaints.
Answer and manage phone lines in a professional manner
Register guests.
Embrace and utilize NorthPoint AAA Customer Service Tool when interacting with guests, vendors and co-workers.
Needs to have:
One of the Following:
Two years of office clerical experience.
18 months of office clerical experience and completion of the Office Specialist Pathway Training program
One year of office clerical experience and completion of the Human Services Pathway Training Program.

Working in a medical office setting
Working with interpreters
Handling confidential information and registration
Scheduling and/or arranging laboratory, medical, and/or radiology appointments.
Providing service in a culturally diverse area and communicating with a diverse group of residents and coworkers.
Epic Electronic Health Record system; including Epic Ambulatory, Epic outpatient, Epic Radiant, Epic Registration.
Utilizing Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Ability to:
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Delivering exceptional customer service.
Work in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and strong time management skills.
Recognize and respect cultural differences and provide culturally appropriate services.
Work well within a diverse team of talented health professionals.
