Description
The Human Resources (HR) department is seeking an experienced leader with effective communication skills and computer aptitude to join our HR team as the Total Rewards Service Center Supervisor in the Total Rewards (TR) division. This position will supervise support staff (currently two staff members) in the Total Rewards HR Service Center, assist the Total Rewards Manager in daily management of operations, and lead specialized Total Rewards projects and programs.

Location and hours:
This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours will be Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. with flexibility. Based on business needs of this position, hires must live in or relocate to Minnesota. New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022, to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment.

In this position, you will:
· Supervise service center support staff; manage assignments by monitoring employee workload, assigning duties and responsibilities, and directing resources.
· Ensure customer needs are met by effectively hiring, training, coaching and managing support staff performance.
· Investigate and resolve customer complaints and inquiries escalated from the HR Service Center; serve as escalation point for HR Service Center staff.
· Analyze and prepare Total Rewards service center data by reviewing customer inquiry information, daily/monthly/yearly statistics including phone and tracking logs and present information to Total Rewards leadership to drive continuous improvement and better customer service.
· Assist in the development, testing and implementation of new solutions to support HR and TR activities.
· Assist the Total Rewards Operations Manager in daily oversight of operational duties including benefit enrollment, program management and administrative duties and service as the backup for the Total Rewards Operations Manager for other issues impacting the Total Rewards area.
· Serve as the backup to The Bridge administrator coordinating and updating content management in our Benefits portal using Sitecore and ensure content on other HR resources (e.g., SharePoint, etc.) is updated accordingly.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o Six or more years of professional human resources or related experience.
o Two or more years of college coursework, including 12 or more credits in the fields below and four or more years of professional human resources or related experience.
o Certificate in human resources from an approved college or university and four or more years of professional human resources or related experience.
o Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration, industrial relations, human resources administration, public administration, psychology, or a field closely related to the position and two or more years of professional human resources or related experience.
Nice to have:
· Experience:
o Working with Total Rewards in a public sector and/or a closely related professional environment (e.g., non-profit organization).
o Communicating policies, procedures, process and technology changes to supervisors, managers, employees, and applicants.
o Overseeing or leading operational duties for HR and/or Total Rewards areas.
o Using PeopleSoft or other related HR computer programs.
o Working with HR service center or HR portal technology.
· Advanced experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word) PowerPages, SharePoint, Sitecore, or other HRIS benefits computer applications.
· Experience or education around addressing racial equity, gender equity, LGBTQIA equity, neurodiversity equity, differing ability equity.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication based on audience and format (e.g., in person, email, letters, manuals, presentation, etc.).
· Efficient organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously; ability to delegate work appropriately to support staff as well as build trust and foster a team environment.
· Ability to analyze the training needs of staff and provide training as appropriate (individual, group, on-line, etc.).
