KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Young Adult Ministry Female Associate will support the Young Adult Director in fostering a culture of disciple multiplication within the young adult ministry. She will support the mission, vision, and strategy of Young Adult ministries seeking to make young adult disciples of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world. Specifically, the Young Adult Ministry Female Associate will divide her time into three areas: shepherding female young adults, administrative support for the Young Adult Director with weekly programming, outreaches and events, and creative execution.
Maintain exemplary, personal walk with the Lord. Daily renewing first love for Christ.
To shepherd & equip the female young adults.
Help pair each female leader with an older women mentor.
Be the point person for new young adults looking to get connected.
Provide general administrative task support to the Director of NXT-YA.
Set up and prepare for Friday night NXT-UP Community Group.
Set up and prepare for Tuesday night NXT-YA Community Group.
Oversee the administrative components of the NXT-YA worship team: structure, scheduling, and personnel.
Execute communications and social media plan.
Support any external events such as retreats and mission trips.
Explore and implement additional training options for NXT-YA leaders in coordination with Director.
Help cultivate a fun, inviting environment for the community group times (Tuesday/Friday)
Investigate and implement in coordination with Director creative ways to empower young adults to help with various administration duties (i.e. set up team, food team, etc.).
