Hand in Hand Christian Montessori – South Campus, Bloomington, has an opening for a part-time Health Consultant for the months of August and September. Health Consultants at HIH understand that healthy students make successful learners and therefore are advocates for the physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and social health of the students in our community. The Health Consultant works with the School Nurse to provide annual and as needed health training and works closely with the Campus Director at their assigned site and Human Resources Director to ensure that students and staff are engaged in ethical and legally required practices related to health and safety. Responsibilities include: sending Communicable Disease Notices, creating care plans, interpreting HIH Health policy and protocols, organizing health forms, overseeing administration of health office and medications, supporting onsite Primary and Back Up, signing off monthly on licensed childcare documents, and providing direct care to sick or injured children when on campus.
