Midland Technologies has an entry-level inside sales representative position available at our Rogers, MN facility. The inside sales representative will be responsible for developing processing incoming orders, new leads through email and phone calls, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. To be successful as an inside sales representative you should be able to develop and build rapport with customers. A top inside sales representative should also be very proactive, responsive and a good listener. Completing sales orders, sending out acknowledgements and following up with customers after products have been shipped. Midland is the North American headquarters of Lethiguel, a French company the provides products and services to the foundry industries worldwide. Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities: Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Communicating with customers via email and phone, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities Collaborating with our production and engineering staff to gather additional necessary information Maintaining up-to-date product and service information Keeping our CRM database current with customer information and intelligence – adding information based upon your communications Other tasks as assigned Inside Sales Representative Requirements: · Experience as a customer service representative · Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow professionally · Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products · Excellent communication skills -- listening, verbal and written · Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask · Exceptional customer service skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in outbound calls to potential customers or a related sales position preferred Associate degree or higher Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as Act Excellent phone and cold calling skills Compensation Depending on qualifications and experience -- $35,000 to $45,000 401k match of 100% on first 4% Medical, Dental & Vision coverage End of year bonus for company hitting revenue targets for year $3,000 annual college/university/tech school tuition reimbursement for each child or dependent, each year they are in school, up to 4 years Please submit information via email to:
