APG is looking to add a full time Owner’s Representative (Designated Rep) with some construction management experience to work in St. Paul, MN to support plant engineering on second shift at $30-45 per hour (DOQ) plus benefits.   APG is an engineering consulting firm that has provided field and engineering services, construction, and project management, including architecture and design, mechanical & electrical engineering since 1983.   Duties This person would have general construction experience to oversee construction workers and contractors to ensure safety and contract compliance, to help with the filter change work as well as any other work that carries into 2nd shift, including snow removal coverage for late night work. Monitor contractor safety and ensure ·         contractor is aware of site specific safety requirements. ·         contractor is aware of site emergency procedures. ·         contractor is aware of any process hazards associated with the area where work performed. ·         proper permitting procedures are followed for the tasks being performed by the contractor. ·         qualified individuals are utilized by the contractor (ex. welding, equipment operators, etc.). ·         compliance with owner specifications, drawings and contract terms.   Qualifications ·         Commercial/Industrial construction experience, required. ·         Understand construction safety and hazards, required. ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills required. ·         Proficient with Microsoft office, Word, Excel, Outlook, preferred but not required. ·         OSHA 30 preferred, not required.   Shift and Start Date:  ·         Expected hours would be M-F, 3PM-Midnight. ·         Planned start: March during the day shift to shadow our Designated Reps during the day shift before they transition to 2nd shift in April.   Compensation and Benefits ·         Pay Rate: $30-45 /hour plus benefits, depending upon experience and qualifications. ·         Benefits: Health insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), Dental insurance, Life insurance, Vision insurance, 401(k), 401(k) matching, Paid Time Off (PTO), vacation, and holidays.   Why APG?  We’re growing!
