Our Company needs a pleasant and willing team player to assist with accounting, customer billing, accounts payable, and administrative support. As the Accounting clerk, you will be responsible for timely and accurate billing of customers, accurate completion of accounts payable activities, and performing daily administrative duties along with backing up other administrative teams.

2-year accounting experience in professional office setting preferred, or any satisfactory combination of education and/or experience

Job Description:

  • The Accounting Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department including:

  • Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs ( Microsoft Dynamics GP)

  • Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.

  • Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.

  • Investigates questionable data.

  • Execute Payroll, booking and related taxes and records.

  • Execute daily billing, invoiced and account receivables as well as follow-up with customers.

  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and customer services.

Qualifications:

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.

  • Studying Accounting or Finance or just conclude Accounting.

  • Intermediate knowledge of ERP Microsoft Dynamics GP ( Great Plains )

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.

  • Requires 2 years of experience or willingness and openness to learn.

  • Open to work collaboratively with other departments to accomplish the big picture goal.

  • Attention to details and enjoy variety throughout of your day.
