Job Description: Product Staging Coordinator
Harland Medical Systems is a medical device company, which develops surface enhancement (coatings)
and methods for a large range of applications. The Product Staging Coordinator position has two main
areas of responsibility:
Product Handling: 40%
The product staging coordinator will handle, mix, test and prepare product for production for both coating solutions sales and coating services. They will be required to follow written process instructions for proper handling and preparing of coating solutions (chemistry) for use. Some testing will need to be performed on the solutions before being staged for use or to be sold. They must consistently perform their job with great attention to detail and accurately.
Device History Record (DHR) Documentation: 60%
The product staging coordinator is essential to ensuring that the device history record (DHR) accurately represents the exact process through which production parts and coating solutions pass to become finished goods. Preparing products and the correct corresponding documentation for production is the foundation of a correct DHR. Their activities and duties must be performed according to quality system requirements. They must consistently perform their job with great attention to detail and accurately. Preference will be giving to candidates with prior experience as a production staging coordinator or in a related role in production, document control or data entry.
Primary Job Functions:
Prep physical products (coating solutions and products for coating) for production including labeling and testing of coating solutions (chemistry). Prepare correct documentation for production lots. Assist in maintaining chemistry inventory through the use of the MRP system. Complete production documentation accurately before quality assurance check. Use the internal MRP system and accurately enter data pertaining to work orders and jobs.

Basic mathematical tabulation and calculations skills.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.

Can perform all job tasks given by the supervisor and/or Business Unit Manager.
Experienced in data entry with knowledge medical device manufacturing with experience with working
with DHRs. Willingness to learn new software and systems. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Products
e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must be able to function in a stressful environment.

Education: High School Graduate, College, Community College or Technical College (some level of completion)
Work Status: Full-time
Travel: Position requires 0% travel.
Reporting: Reports to the Logistics Supervisor
