Executive Administrative Assistant and Office Manager @ Baker Publishing Group

About this position:

Baker Publishing Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Executive VP and general office management for the Bloomington-based divisions.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the Director in the staffing and management of the publishing house

  • Maintenance of local HR processes, files, and data

  • Acting as primary tenant contact for landlord

  • Overseeing facilities and equipment management services and maintaining office supplies

  • Managing receptionist staff

  • Preparing for and arranging video- and teleconference meetings and arranging travel details

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

  • Previous experience assisting executive-level management

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Personal alignment with corporate mission

  • Proven record of being proactive, detail-oriented, and persistent

  • Previous experience with FileMaker Pro databases is a plus

Compensation and benefits:

Hourly wage commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits for this full-time position include health, dental, and group life insurance; short- and long-term disability insurance; paid time off; 401(k); and others.
