JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator
REPORTS TO: Controller

SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for managing a multi-state bi-weekly payroll and directing the Payroll Specialist in the processing of the bi-weekly payroll. This position is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of E.A. Sween’s payroll system as well as identifying opportunities for further process improvement within the payroll department. This position oversees the year-end requirements for timely distribution and accuracy of W-2’s, the filing of quarterly and annual state and federal forms not handled by UltiPro in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for making sure the payroll department adheres to company, state and federal policies and procedures to ensure payroll compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in a Payroll related field with multi-state employer.
Must have at least 5 years previous experience processing a full cycle payroll for 500+ employees.
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Requires an understanding of multi-state wage and labor laws.
Prefer experience using UltiPro products or experience using a fully integrated online HRIS/Payroll system.
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
