Business Process & Readiness Lead



This position is responsible to develop and execute a structured approach to change leadership, training, communication and process excellence to support the healthcare company’s employees and customers through our digital transformation. Duties also include the development of appropriate metrics and methods of evaluation and providing strategic direction to the Web Program Team on transformation efforts with the goal of helping the health care company achieve its digital strategy, growth and operational effectiveness objectives.

This important work will result in improved operational effectiveness, organization processes, structures, measures, and accountabilities, with the ultimate goal of achieving superior business results. It is essential to work successfully with resources from all functional areas of the company to achieve impactful results in support of the business and/or functions goals and objectives.

  • Responsible for partnering with the Program Team and business leaders to develop and execute customized change management plans.

  • Evaluate and ensure stakeholder readiness for program implementation.

  • Lead the development and execution of internal and external communication plans.

  • Define training needs and develop and execute cross functional training plans.

  • Develop value realization metrics, accountabilities and measurement plan to improve operations and increase member and provider satisfaction.

  • Lead the identification, documentation and analysis of a wide variety of business processes. Collaborate with business owners to define and implement future state processes. Bridge the gap from current to future state in the quickest and most efficient way.

  • Effectively lead multiple work streams concurrently with a focus on deadlines, details and documentation

  • Responsible to design, gain consensus and implement end state roles, responsibilities and effective governance to manage implemented improvements.

  • Responsible for planning and successfully executing robust User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.


  • 7+ years project management experience.

  • 7+ years of business/organizational transformation and change management work

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated experiencing documenting and transforming business processes.

  • Familiarity with process management and improvement methods and tools.

  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.

  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.

  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.

  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Project; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook.


  • 5+ years Program management experience.

  • Healthcare insurance industry experience.
