Our current openings include:
Adult Special Education- in this position, you would develop and deliver classes on subjects like job skills, cooking & life skills, and self-advocacy. You will also assist in coordinating recreational activities and community outings. We are currently offering full time and part time positions ranging from $12.20/hr-$14.00/hr.
Site Supervisor- in these full time positions, you will lead a small group of adults with disabilities at their work site. Their work could include light assembly, dish room and kitchen services, or janitorial work. You will act as their role model and supervisor in their daily work. These are full time positions ranging from $12.20/hr-$14.00/hr.
Residential- staff in our residential area assist people we serve in their daily living needs. This would include medication administration, helping with meals, attending community events, and providing support in their daily life. We have group homes, supported apartments, and residents needing in-home care spread across the Twin Cities! We offer part time, full time, on-call, weekend, weekday, and overnight positions ranging from $12.20/hr-$13.26/hr!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge customarily acquired through formal education resulting in a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle or transport people in employee’s own vehicle.
Education or training in the rehabilitation field preferred
Communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to manage challenging behaviors in the office and community settings.
Ability to work independently within a defined set of policies, procedures and guidelines
Basic computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and react quickly in emergency situations.
