A'viands is hiring reliable Full-time and Part-Time Servers, Cooks and Dishwashers to work in the food service operation at Chaska Heights Senior Living located in Chaska, MN. The address is 3120 Chestnut Street North, Chaska, MN 55318.

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, maintaining and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, dish room and other miscellaneous equipment. Duties of this position may include assisting in the preparation of food items and performing job related functions as assigned by supervisors. The ideal candidate must be able to follow instructions and work both independently and as a team with other employees. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds. This position is part-time. Hours would be morning to midafternoon or mid-afternoon to evening on weekdays and weekends (7pm). Pays $12 per hour. 

 

The Server is responsible for delivering food and beverages to customers. Duties of this position include, greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, explaining specials and menu items, taking orders and continuing with follow-up items to improve the meal while ensuring that the service is completed in accordance with health code regulations. The ideal candidate will have prior food service experience in a restaurant setting and excellent customer service and communication skills. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds. ($12 per hour). This position is part-time. Hours would be morning to midafternoon or mid-afternoon to evening on weekdays and weekends (7pm). Pays $12 per hour.

 

The Cook is responsible for performing food preparation and production tasks efficiently and accurately while following safe food handling policies, procedures, and recipes. Duties of this position include, ensuring portion control, temperature, and appearance of food items is per standard. The ideal candidate will have prior cooking experience preferably in an institutional setting with an emphasis on scratch and high quantity cooking. The ability to read, write and understand directions and to work both independently or as part of a team is also required. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds. This position is full-time and part-time. For part-times, hours would be morning to mid-afternoon or mid-afternoon to evening on weekdays and weekends (7pm). Pays $13 per hour.
