Inside Sales Representative I

DriSteem currently has an opening for an energetic, dynamic Inside Sales Representative. We are looking for someone who can see opportunities and wants to make a difference as part of a growing team.
Performs as Primary contact person for respective OEMs and House accounts.
Performs as secondary contact person for assigned sales representative accounts when Regional Sales Managers are unavailable.
Confirms verbal quotations in writing and responds to quotation requests.
Identifies customer needs and provides knowledgeable assistance to help customer select correct products to serve their needs.
Makes and receives telephone calls and quotes accurate prices to all customers in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Write orders and verifies information is correct and complies with sales policies and procedures prior to order entry.
Reviews customer purchase orders for accuracy and enters them into the DriSteem business system with emphasis on the following: specification credits, pricing, (DMF’s) discount multiplier forms, change orders, wiring diagrams, (ETO’s) Engineered to Order forms.
Supports continual compliance with ISO 9001 standards and procedures.
Seeks and recommends ways to improve sales methods and procedures and to increase overall efficiency.
Make recommendations, which will improve existing, company products or which will lead toward the development of new/improved products.
Keeps Inside Sales Manager informed of important developments, potential problems and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates/communicates Inside Sales plans and activities with other personnel, where appropriate, to ensure a coordinated work effort and “team approach”.
Complies with any/all company safety and health rules and policies and promotes safe work practices. Report any safety concerns to a supervisor/manager.
Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
To effectively perform assigned sales and related sales support functions for the Regional Sales Managers and sales representative accounts in a manner that will enhance the reputation of the company and its products. To communicate company policies and customer needs so as to ensure the highest level of professional relationship.
Provides sales support for independent sales representatives for the following:
Product information, application, sizing
Pricing, written quotations, submittals
Develops rapport with representative offices
DriCalc Selection software
Associate Degree in Business Management or Engineering preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of related sales experience, preferably in HVAC products, at a previous employer preferred.
Strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills.
Good technical aptitude.
Must project an aggressive, professional sales attitude.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, company personnel and others via email and phone.
Knowledge of MicroSoft Office Products with an emphasis on Excel, MicroSoft Project and Visio
Basic knowledge of the DriSteem product line.
