Order Process Planner, Powered Cabinet Products
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Interacts with internal and external customers to plan, implement, process and complete orders for products and services and provide account maintenance for internal and external customers.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide order planning and processing support for the powered cabinet product line.
Interacts with sales, suppliers and/or customers by telephone and in person.
Tracks and analyzes new and ongoing orders to review priorities, ship dates and inventory levels.
Works closely with procurement to align material requirements and supply to meet ship date.
Respond to specific order status and change requests
Assists with expediting and order tracking as necessary.
Completes reports and handles special projects.
Receives and responds to return/warranty requests
Performs assigned work independently and maintains confidentiality of customer information.
Coordinate shipping process with suppliers (who to use, paperwork needed, etc.).
Receive the CLFD Purchase Order in Great Plains (GP).
Calculate freight charge to be billed to customer if applicable.
Look up tracking number or otherwise to confirm product has shipped from supplier.
Review Invoice in GP including updating the Site ID from which product ships.
Update Calix’s Supplier website with shipment information
Enters appropriate information via computer terminal, and follow-up with other personnel and customer by telephone, e-mail, and/or letter.
Send appropriate documents to supplier(s) or other stakeholders
Create separate Packing slips and ROTs files for each supplier
Update Access and/or Synchrono software with order/shipment information as appropriate.
Fosters a positive spirit of cooperation with both internal and external relationships.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Prefer three years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to obtain knowledge of policies and procedures of related departments, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to communicate in a professional manner with all stakeholders and promote positive company image.
Experience in negotiating with customers and handle sensitive situations tactful
