As a member of the Information Technology Team this individual will provide an exceptional customer experience to Boulay employees through technical assistance and support related to computer systems, software and hardware.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Provide an exceptional customer service experience to all firm resources that need technical assistance.
• Monitor and respond to help desk tickets, phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Document or update documentation on the technical processes and procedures that are encountered daily.
• First Point of contact to resolve all Firm software and hardware related issues.
• Ability to train on the basics of computer use including Email and Intranet navigation.
• Work with the IT department to install, test, troubleshoot, and provide general repair and maintenance support for all desktop and laptop computers and peripheral equipment (printers, scanners, video conferencing, etc.) in a networked and stand-alone environment.
• Ensure compliance with and enforcement of Firm data policies.
• Aid in work related to multiple projects, as well as be responsible for select individual projects.
• Assist with onboarding of new employees and laptop rollout.
• All other assigned duties.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Required:
• High School diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills; both written and verbal
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Self-directed and detail oriented
• Able to deal with stressful situations
• Able to provide knowledgeable phone and desk side first line support
• Able to learn and troubleshoot common problems with proprietary software
• Able and willing to work as part of a team
• Able to ask questions first to obtain information, and second to take action(s)
• Able to follow directions and execute a plan of action
• Desire to learn and expand technical skills
• Basic PC/Network troubleshooting skills
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work well independently
• Commitment to dependability, reliability and timeliness


Preferred:
• Experience using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Basic PC Operation
• Troubleshooting experience
