HVAC Sales Leader 

 

Overview

 

Great Lakes Radiant & Industrials is seeking a highly motivated, competitive, sales driven individual to attract, develop, and maintain a strong and thriving client base! The successful candidate will source new sales opportunities while managing clients, generating leads and qualifying potential prospects. Building customer relationships and providing high quality customer service is paramount to the success of this position. The job will also entail managing a small warehouse with the ability to send shipments to customers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sell industrial HVAC and lighting products using various sales methods including pro-active telephone calls, presentations, mail & email campaigns, in-person visits, etc.

  • Research accounts to generate follow through leads

  • Develop, maintain, and expand client database within assigned territory

  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing and implementing solutions

  • Evaluate customer needs and build productive, long-lasting relationships

  • Utilize standardized sales strategies/models as well as developing innovative techniques to procure sales while evaluating their effectiveness

  • Identify business improvement opportunities and discuss implementation with management

  • Attend meetings, sales events, and trainings to stay current on the latest developments

  • Create, edit, and present solutions, including product design layout to match customer’s needs

  • Conduct site surveys to make recommendations and assist with product design

  • Commit to a team-centric atmosphere while sharing information that contributes to the success of everyone


Requirements

  • HVAC industry sales & service experience

  • Proven sales success

  • Passion for excellence

  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

  • Ability to create and maintain customer centric atmosphere

  • Experience in creating presentations/public speaking

  • Computer proficiency

  • Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public

  • Work requires local travel to current and potential clients. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Working Conditions

 

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel. Weekend and evening work is not common but may be needed at times. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Office is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
