Managed IT Services- Project Deployment Technician
SUCCESS Computer Consulting is seeking a qualified IT Project Deployment Technician to join our growing technical team. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a technical role implementing new hardware and IT solutions with a high level of accuracy, proven troubleshooting results and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our project services team delivers infrastructure solutions to our managed service customers. This is a fast-paced role requiring skills in a variety of technology solutions and ability to work well in a team environment. This role includes a schedule up to 50%-75% of onsite work.
Base builds, configurations and testing of new hardware including: workstations, firewalls, switches, wireless solutions, servers and backup solutions etc.
Deliveries and installation of new hardware at client locations
Provide onsite and remote post support for migrations and cutovers assisting the Project Engineers
Manage project deliveries, in and out of scope tasks, closely following the provided statements of work
Assist with thorough communications and information shares with other areas of the organization, including documentation and updating of configurations.
Management of workload and ability to work well independently and as a team member to ensure team standards are met
Detailed documentation of technical issues and steps taken for resolution
Participate in the technical on-call rotation
WHO YOU ARE
5+ years of previous technical project implementation experience preferred
Experience with the following network infrastructure projects: Windows Desktop OS’s (Win 8, Win 10); Hardware Firewalls, Microsoft Office 365 migrations and products, Wireless, Backup Technologies, Switches, UPS
Willingness to take ownership for job responsibilities
Ability to be self-motivated/driven while working very closely with a team
Effective verbal and written communications to a business audience and peers
Microsoft and/or Vendor Certifications preferred
Ability to lift 25lbs and perform physical installation of equipment at Customers sites
Valid Minnesota Driver’s license, reliable automobile and valid insurance

OUTSIDE SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The Outside Sales Account Executive is responsible for bringing new business opportunities to SUCCESS, coaching them through the sales process, and successfully closing the business. This role is approximately 85% hunting new business and 15% account management.
