Job Description

Best Technology, a small fast-growing business, is searching for an individual with experience in bookkeeping, project management, office administration and warehouse operations. This role serves to support office, sales representatives and warehouse operations in bookkeeping, order processing, project management, shipping/receiving, and daily office duties.

A successful candidate is able to utilize his or her skill set to perform bookkeeping via Quickbooks, process purchase orders, manage projects, and perform general administrative tasks, all while ensuring customer service is a top priority.


  • Generate shipping documentation: Bill of lading, print UPS labels, etc.

  • Packing and shipping chemical orders. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

  • Operate forklift to load/unload trucks.

  • Schedule shipments according to customers’ orders.

  • Process orders, invoices, billing and payments with customers and vendors.

  • Maintain customer and vendor relationships.

  • Monitor and maintain communication with customers and vendors throughout the entirety of project timelines, from purchase order to delivery to post delivery.

  • Support customer and vendor email communication on all of the following, including but not limited to: shipping logistics, project timeline management, customer service responses, etc.

  • Track and pull reports on sales leads sent to vendors, via Salesforce.

  • Assist customers with part orders as needed.

  • Place orders with vendors and coordinate delivery with customers.

  • Provide clerical and administrative support.

  • Make, answer, and route phone calls.

  • Prepare documents for weekly sales meetings.

  • Analyze Salesforce reports and follow up on relevant leads.


  • Candidates must have a high school diploma

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in bookkeeping/accounting

  • Microsoft Office especially Word/Excel experience

  • Excellent computer & phone skills

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks

  • Work collaboratively with all departments as well as customers and vendors to resolve open issues

  • Candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs and be able to stand for periods of time

  • Detail oriented

  • This job requires all of the physical activities shown on the Physical Requirements List

  • Forklift operation (can be trained on the job)

Preferred Experience

  • Quickbooks experience

  • Salesforce experience

  • Google Apps for Business products: Gmail, Google Sheets, etc
