Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing supervision and coordination of care on assigned shift, so that standards of care are maintained.
Participating as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team, developing a therapeutic relationship with clients and providing accurate, current client concerns, cares, and/or other pertinent information to the team.
Providing for client safety and maintaining a safe, drug free therapeutic environment.
Administering medications and performing treatments.

Licensed Practical Nurses:
In the role of Licensed Practical Nurse at AMRTC, you will deliver high quality medical or psychiatric care by administering and monitoring medications, treatments, and daily cares, along with completing technical admission and discharge procedures for patients entering and leaving the unit. You will also participate as a key member of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans based on the unique needs of each individual.
These team members provide active treatment and support to patients while maintaining a safe environment, which includes critical thinking, behavioral intervention, and crisis negotiation. The length of stay is usually less than 60 days, during which treatment focuses on rapid assessment, stabilization, patient education, and discharge planning involving community support resources, with the overall goal of preventing future episodes.
As an LADC, you will provide integrated independent treatment for patients with co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency or substance use disorders. Treatment includes assessment, observation, description, evaluation, interpretation, and modification of human behavior by the application of core functions as it relates to the harmful or pathological use or abuse of alcohol or other substance.
