WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Indy Health is seeking team members who are passionate about providing care to Medicare Beneficiaries, who understand the importance of adhering to Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) guidance, and as the Assistant Controller will have experience with processing with accounting functions within the Medicare Part D space.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Assistant Controller:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and taxes

  • Handle the company’s transactions and debts and do cash flow forecasting

  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit

  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements

  • Prepare, review, monitor and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Perform ad hoc analysis, reports and projects as requested

  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions

  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

  • Make recommendations to business stakeholders

  • Performs other duties as requested

Job Type: Full-time working in the Edina, Minnesota office and remotely

Salary: commensurate with the industry and based on experience
