eCommerce Specialist @ United Hardware Distributing


eCommerce Specialist: United Hardware Distributing in Plymouth, MN is seeking a full-time eCommerce Specialist.  This is a remote position.

United Hardware Distributing Co. is a full-line wholesale hardware distributor providing products, retail programs and support services to independent retailers.  Headquartered in Plymouth, MN, United Hardware services dealers from its 400,000 square foot distribution center in Milbank, SD and delivers to locations in 18 states.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive daily achievement of eCommerce business objectives and KPI targets, including revenue, conversion, AOV, customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate performance-based digital media and acquisition strategies including budgets, programming and vendor management across paid media (search, social, display, email, re-marketing) to deliver against growth and revenue goals

  • Understand and leverage web analytics to optimize customer interactions

  • Optimize online engagements using insights from web analytics to generate and implement test strategies with site content, product assortment and shopping experiences to drive qualified traffic and revenue-building activities

  • Work cross-functionally to manage content and creative assets across the entire online customer journey

  • Develop user requirements for use cases to ensure optimal website user experience for IT development and testing

  • Create and present KPI dashboards and conversion metrics for executive team

  • Develop realistic plans, action steps, and timetables for projects and assignments; Coordinate work with other groups (other depts. and agencies/contractors, peers); Handle multiple demands and competing priorities; Track and prioritize projects, documenting projects via a project schedule

  • Effectively offer input on and managing a budget for all online marketing campaigns

  • Maintain good attendance record by being present for work each day as scheduled

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum 2 years of eCommerce experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, IT, or related field required

  • Experience with KIbo or similar eCommerce platform/CMS

  • Working knowledge of Web Analytics, optimization, Multi-Variant testing and personalization tools such as Google Analytics and Monetate

  • Must have direct knowledge and experience with SEO, SEM, and paid campaigns

  • Certifications in Google Analytics and Adwords a plus

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset

  • Ability to organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, work autonomously and juggle multiple tasks

  • Strong Project Management skills
