ARCpoint Labs provides COVID testing, drug and alcohol testing, DNA testing, background checks, blood draws, and other test services to both companies and individuals. Our mission is to reduce drug and alcohol abuse while helping individuals and companies manage their health & wellness through affordable lab screening.
This is an entry level Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant position and the primary duties will be performing COVID testing collections, drug tests (specimen collections), drawing blood and processing the appropriate related paperwork. The drug test lab skills needed will be taught "on the job" including providing the necessary training to gain a Federal DOT certification.
Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for someone who is customer service and solution oriented. We will train you on the job for the lab duties you need to perform. The following skills would make you a good fit for this position.
Positive energy and a good attitude & team player
Must be comfortable interacting directly (in person, email and phone) with a variety of clients who are using our lab for a wide range of testing purposes
Basic Microsoft Office Skills - (specifically Outlook & Excel)
Responsible - we work with a lot of confidential information
Attention to detail – the details matter!
Previous lab experience a plus, but not required
Other job duties include but not limited to:
COVID testing – we test asymptomatic clients
Specimen Collection - administering drug & alcohol testing services (UA, Hair, Nail and Breath)
DNA collection and client intake
Answer phones, interact with current and prospective customers, and answer basic questions about the tests we offer
Supporting our current clients with various projects as needed
Reception desk responsibilities
Light cleaning responsibilities
Qualifications
This job is fulltime position expected to last 4-6 months with the potential of converting to a regular position. We are closed weekends and major holidays.
Phlebotomy certificate (or in progress) is preferred but not required
Excellent customer service skills required
Training provided: DOT drug and alcohol collections certification, all modes of drug screen specimen collection.
