Jr. High Female Discipleship Associate

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Female Discipleship Associate is responsible for overseeing all aspects of female small groups and leaders in NXT J-High. She will also support the overall leadership of NXT J-High and play a key role in all J-High programs, events, retreats, etc. The Female Discipleship Associate will serve in the following responsibilities:
Model and champion Grace Church’s mission to make disciples across the street and around the world.
Oversee Wednesday night female small groups and serve as needed.
Intentionally pour into the female small group leaders in NXT J-High for the purposes of value, connection, and equipping, through one-on-one check-ins throughout the year.
Oversee J-High Wednesday Night first impressions (check-in, new students, café, dinner).
Maintain availability on Sunday mornings for ministry needs as they arise.
Organize and manage NXT J-High small groups in CCB.
Recruit volunteers (i.e., small group leaders, parent hall-monitors, new student welcome team, café, and check-in volunteers).
Ensure implementation of Grace Church Child Safety Policy.
Organize, plan, and execute J-High Events (Winter Retreat, Summer Camp) alongside the J-High Director.
Participate and serve at NXT High School events as needed.
Track and oversee J-High attendance and follow up with new students.
Create and conduct discipleship and outreach initiatives in local Middle Schools.
Intentionally pour into female J-High students through life-on-life discipleship.
Communicate weekly with parents & volunteers.
Oversee creative aspects of NXT students through branding and NXT merchandise.
Innovate, organize, and manage the NXT social media and various NXT social accounts in partnership with the Grace Church communications team.
Work closely with NXT High School Female Discipleship Associate for Wednesday night programming and office coordination.
Communicate weekly with parents and volunteers of NXT J-High.
Maintain a professional posture, a positive can-do attitude and confidentiality in all tasks/relationships.
PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS
Educational requirements (Preferred): Received, or in the process of receiving, a bachelor’s degree in related field.
Experience requirements: 2-3 years’ experience in a student ministry leadership role.
Ability to teach and instruct based on thorough knowledge of the Word of God.
Successful history of connecting with, teaching and discipling kids, students, volunteers and parents.
Ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as drive teams.
Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
Consistent attendance and participation in Grace Church and involvement in the life of the church.
