Infrastructure Engineer
Job description
In this role, the individual will work closely with the Director of IT Infrastructure to implement and support systems, devices, and applications across our hybrid cloud infrastructure. Additionally, this individual will regularly interface with our desktop support team to provide advanced support as needed.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, implement, and maintain IT systems to support business needs.
Support physical and virtual Windows systems.
Administer numerous network services and infrastructure including Active Directory, Storage Area Networks, VMWare, Unitrends Backup, Microsoft 365, SSO, and Forcepoint Web Security systems.
Expand cloud footprint as needed using the Microsoft Azure platform (AVD, AAD, Intune)
Assist IT Director with short and long-term roadmaps as well as evaluating new technologies.
24/7 on-call IT support for multiple data-processing facilities including an off-site datacenter
Provide 2nd level support for Windows-based workstations, servers, printers, and IT equipment.
Understand and adhere to Company information, security, and privacy responsibilities as detailed in the Information Resource Usage Policy, Employee Manual, and client-specific publications.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
Proven problem solving skills
Strong willingness to learn with minimal direction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience designing, implementing, and administering scalable windows based environments
Exposure to structured change control procedures
Education:
A two-year associate/technical degree in computer science or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $110,000.00 per year DOQ
