Edwards RideCare is looking for qualified Independent (1099) drivers to join our growing team in Minneapolis, MN. You will share in realizing the mission for Edwards RideCare and be accountable for maintaining our unprecedented Five-Star ratings. You will collaborate closely with our team to disrupt the ride services ecosystem in the markets we serve. We are looking for service-oriented and focused drivers who are committed to the mission, focused on driving excellence, and have the highest level of integrity. We are looking for someone with a rare combination of talents which must include a rich history of achieving customer service excellence by taking initiative, being creative, and demonstrating ingenuity and discipline.
The Driver’s primary responsibility is to deliver safe & delightful rides 100% of the time with our proven combination of safety and exceptional service. You will achieve that within the primary markets we serve (older adults & individuals on disability waivers) - with a caring, compassionate, “door-through-door” customer satisfaction focus. Edwards RideCare’s proven, sophisticated sales & marketing techniques will supply the driver with quality, consistent, high-fare rides.
What you will be doing
Driving Excellence
Your vehicle & driving expertise, combined with our training and program will enable you to deliver rides for individuals who can’t or won’t use other modes of transportation
Achieve 100% on-time, reliable transportation for individuals who simply can’t be late to appointments or miss appointments
Be the face of the company by exhibiting professionalism, courtesy, patience, and kindness in sometimes trying circumstances
Always maintain a pristine vehicle
Develop trusting relationships with those we serve by providing a soothing, comforting ride experience
Driving Leadership
· Provide “Voice-of-the-Customer” feedback to the company so our value proposition is continuously improved, clearly articulated, and embraced by the entire organization
· Seek opportunities to increase ride volume through relationships with Elder Care communities, healthcare providers, group homes, & daycare providers
Recruit new drivers who fit our reputation of driving excellence
Promote a culture where innovation and product & service differentiation are valued and rewarded
Contribute to and nurture a collaborative culture that embraces high expectations, enhances employee engagement, and influences others to excel
Communicate and enthusiastically promote the company’s core values to fellow employees and those we serve
Experience, skills, and resources needed
· Qualified vehicle (requirements provided upon request)
· Pass requisite MVR and background checks
· Demonstrated ability to always attend to clients with care and compassion
· Key character attributes include punctuality, reliability, awareness, patience, courtesy, and exceptional communications skills.
