Behaviorial Health Technician
Hiring contracted Behavior Health Technician for student in private (non-public) school.
Student attends private (Christian) school and is need of 1:1 assistant to support with school day.
Experience must include the following:
one year minimum experience with positive behavior interventions in school setting
one year minimum experience working with children with high functioning autism diagnosis.
Knowledge and Skills
tracking behavior data
supporting students with sensory needs
accommodating for students with social and/or anxiety needs
understanding of ABA behavior techniques
Crisis Prevention (CPI) certification (preferred)
Student is high functioning and needs support with accommodations and support to minimize anxiety and manage sensory in a regular classroom.
Minimum of high school diploma required, with paraprofessional certificate and college credits/Associates degree preferred. Special preference giving to RBT candidates.
