About the Role:

We’re seeking a part-time Home Inspector who is curious, dependable, coachable, and passionate about serving homebuyers and sellers with integrity and care. Home transactions can create stress, and we best serve our clients by providing information in this process, ultimately helping them identify a home suited to become their sanctuary. Your role will be to inspect residential homes and provide detailed, easy-to-understand findings that help clients make informed purchasing decisions.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct thorough residential home inspections and radon testing (training provided)
Identify and communicate defects or safety concerns clearly and professionally
Use technology to generate detailed, timely inspection reports
Interact positively with buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals
Uphold our mission of delivering clarity, care, and professionalism to every client
You’re a Great Fit If You:
Have a solid knowledge base of some home systems (roofing, framing, windows, electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
Thrive in client-facing roles and enjoy working independently
Are physically able to climb ladders, access attics, and enter crawlspaces
Have strong communication skills—both written and verbal
Embrace technology and take initiative with self-directed training
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean record
Are working toward or hold certification with InterNACHI, ASHI, or similar
Are willing to become a licensed radon tester
Can pass a background check and provide 2+ references
Helpful But Not Required:
Previous home inspection or construction experience
Knowledge of inspection software, moisture meters, or infrared tools
Experience working in fast-paced or customer service environments
