Minnesota Urology is seeking an Appointment Scheduler to support our patient-focused operations and help ensure a seamless experience from the first point of contact. In this role, you will be a key part of the patient journey-using your communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to connect patients with the care they need.

Hourly pay range: $18.80 - $23.50 per hour(Dependent on direct healthcare appointment scheduling experience)
Position Overview
In this role, you will manage patient appointments by answering incoming calls, assessing patient needs, and coordinating visits based on provider availability and patient preferences. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate patient records, utilizing electronic health record systems to schedule appointments, document information, and send reminders. You will also handle appointment changes, cancellations, and scheduling conflicts while following up on patient inquiries to ensure timely resolution.
You will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support daily operations and contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered environment by addressing concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
Success in this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients clearly and compassionately. You must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting. Problem-solving skills and adaptability are essential, as scheduling demands may change throughout the day. A customer-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members are also critical.
