Chaska Adult Ministry Internship

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chaska Adult Ministries Intern is a hands-on leadership development role designed to equip and grow individuals in discipleship, ministry leadership, and pastoral care. This internship provides meaningful opportunities to lead, disciple, and serve within Adult Ministry while gaining practical ministry experience in a dynamic church environment. This position will be responsible for the following:
Ministry Leadership & Execution
Assist in leading and executing key Adult Ministry environments:
Fall: Re:Generation | Small Groups.
Spring: Re|Engage | Small Groups.
Summer: ENGAGE Teams + Trips.
Support the planning and execution of key ministry events (e.g., SGL Coaching, Man Up Weekend, Man Up Mornings, Christmas Outreach).
10 Hours A Week | 4.5 hours: Ministry; 1.5 hours: Ministry Development; 1.5 hours: Ministry Prep; & 2.5 Hours: Ministry Coaching & Contacting.
Discipleship & Leadership Development
Invest in and disciple ministry leaders within the leadership pipeline.
Serve as a coach or support leader for key ministry environments.
Help lead or co-lead a Groundwork Group in Re:Generation.
Assist in facilitating Re|Engage alongside couples and leaders.
Care & Pastoral Support
Provide care for individuals within the church by:
Serving in the prayer room.
Responding to weekly prayer requests.
Meeting with individuals as needs arise.
Group Facilitation
Help facilitate both large group and small group environments within Re:Gen and Re|Engage.
Support meaningful discussion and engagement within group settings.
Teaching & Development
Participate in Leader Track (September–May) for spiritual and leadership development.
Gain teaching experience by contributing to a rotational teaching team.
Serve as a coach to equip, encourage, and release leaders in our Adult Ministry.
Engage in assigned readings, discussions, and leadership development with supervisor.
Team Collaboration
Collaborate with other Grace Chaska ministry teams as needed.
Attend all required meetings and ministry gatherings.
