GENERAL SUMMARY

As the Team Lead- Senior Developer you will provide your expertise and inspiration to create technology that works beautifully for our clients. This position will partner closely with the developers, designers, project managers, and QA team doing the work, and just as directly with our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

You will be responsible for leading a team that develops and supports digital applications for Creed clients. As a senior-level Creed team member, you will be responsible for coordinating efforts with other developers and managing timelines, source control, and code banks properly. You must possess a knowledge of programming standards and best practices to bring work to life as well as have good interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members while helping them learn and grow. You will also be expected to manage client deliverables, participate in status meetings, make use of time tracking software, and assist with managing assigned projects and managing implementing plans for assigned clients.

As a Team Lead- Senior Developer at Creed Interactive, you will be expected to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Lead a team of direct-report employees within the development department including offshore resources

• Oversee and direct the work of these team members and contractors on assigned projects alongside project managers to ensure successful and effective product delivery

• Assist with workflow implementation and efficiencies to maximize capacity, delivery, and timelines

• Work cross-functionally with leadership and other departments to deliver best-in-class work

• Participate in new business proposals and estimates, as required

• Mentor junior team members to encourage learning and personal development

• In addition to managing a team, you serve as a senior developer on the team delivering great digital products for our clients

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1. 8+ years of experience with PHP, WordPress or Drupal, MySQL, JavaScript, and SCSS

2. Solid understanding of translating client’s requirements to custom functionality using PHP and MySQL

3. Experience with working on a team, collaborating with other developers, and contributing to projects using GIT

4. Experience in developing functionality within Content Management Systems (CMS)

5. Knowledge of code testing practices to help ensure error-free code

6. A track record that shows a high aptitude for learning

7. Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and other code/task management systems

8. Understanding of responsive web design patterns

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on web-based projects in an agency environment

• Experience with either React, Vue, or Angular

• DevOps experience such as creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

• Experience with custom development within Laravel and/or Symfony

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience.

2. 8+ years of experience with PHP, WordPress or Drupal, MySQL, JavaScript, and SCSS
