Job Description:
As a caregiver at Dignified Choice Care, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes. This role requires compassion, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00 to $22.00. We offer flexible scheduling options (full-time and part-time positions available) and a variety of benefits, including Sick and Safe Leave, 401(k), and Minnesota Paid Leave.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe environment, adhering to all Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) safety and health requirements
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility support
Provide exercise and medication reminders and assist with medication administration as needed
Offer specialized care for clients experiencing dementia or cognitive decline
Understand, accept, and respond appropriately to each client’s individual needs
Maintain client confidentiality and uphold privacy standards
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Ability to serve each client with dignity and respect
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Successful completion of annual training requirements
Must pass a background check and meet all employment eligibility requirements
Preferred Skills:
Experience in dementia or cognitive care
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
