Metro Sales is currently looking for a Lease Billing Clerk at our Burnsville headquarters. You will obtain credit approval for prospective customers, process third party lease equipment orders, troubleshoot issues during lease for current portfolio, and assist with quoting and closing expiring leases. You should be able to communicate effectively with third party lease partners and sales reps on order problems/status, and to enforce leasing policies and guidelines

What You Will Do:

  • Obtain credit approval for new and current customers

  • Quote lease payoffs

  • Approve internal and external leasing deals and send appropriate follow-up

  • Review all orders for lease rate, buyout checks, upgrades and approval for billing

  • Send all required paperwork to leasing companies

  • Ensure Third Party Leasing (TPL) funding

  • Follow-up on outstanding issues with TPL

  • Communicate and assist sales with order problems/status

  • Answer and respond to email or telephone inquiries with internal or external customers re: rates, procedures or billing inquiries

  • Review billing queue daily to check for meter readings, ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies in order to process contract billing

  • Work with both sales reps, and customers, to facilitate Metro internal lease payoffs and equipment return.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office Software including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Ability to identify and resolve internal and external customer problems

  • Strong interpersonal, communication & verbal skills

  • Ability to analyze data and process information accordingly with attention to detail

  • Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem

  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted

  • Ability to organize daily activities of self and to work as a team player

  • Ability to be careful with detail and thorough in completing tasks

  • Ability to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business application or accounting required, 1-2 years of office or industry experience preferred
