Under deck installer
Role Description
This is a potentially and eventually full-time 1099 on-site role for an Installer for Underdeck Essentials located in Minneapolis, MN. The Installer will be responsible for installing, and maintaining underdeck systems while ensuring its seamless performance. The Installer will also report any issues they encounter during construction and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications
No formal education is required for this position. However, prior experience in construction, finish carpentry, steel siding, gutter installation, or a similar field is preferred.
Ability to read and understand basic drawings and designs.
Basic fractional math to calculate drainage slopes
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve on-site - 80% consistent routine; 20% creative problem solving.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain details clearly to clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Must be physically fit to go up and down ladders to a 8-10 ft work height. This outdoor seasonal work does not involve heavy lifting, a loud or smelly work environment, and generally is at the back of a beautiful home.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
