Staff accountant @ Counting House

Tasks include recording transactions, reconciling accounts and generating monthly financial reports. Transactions may include online giving, service offerings, payments made, invoices to be paid, credit card charges, summarized payroll and adjusting entries. Depending on candidate's experience, the position may focus on accounts payable across a wide swath of clients rather than full service on a few clients.
Client communication is important including the ability to communicate financial reporting concepts to non-financial church leaders.
QuickBooks Desktop and Online proficiency is required. Excel knowledge highly preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP required. Non-profit experience desireable; church experience even better
