Volunteer: Library Computer Tutor
Description
Hennepin County Library is looking for Computer Tutor Volunteers at a few of our libraries to assist patrons with computer basics. This opportunity will help library patrons improve their basic computer skills and job search skills through one-to-one assistance. Locations in need:
· Augsburg Park located at 7100 Nicollet Ave. Richfield, MN 55423
· Hopkins located at 22 11th Ave. N. Hopkins, MN 55343
· Maple Grove located at 8001 Main St. N. Maple Grove, MN 55369
· Minneapolis Central Library located at 300 Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, MN 55401
· Rockford Road located at 6401 42nd Ave. N. Crystal, MN 55427

· Assist patrons with logging in, typing, and using a mouse to navigate the computer.
· Help patrons navigate the internet (connecting to Wi-Fi, sign up for online accounts, login to email account, and changing passwords).
Need to Have:
· Proficiency in (or a willingness to learn) Microsoft Word and Excel.
