Description
The Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation’s DOCCR Client and Community Restoration division is seeking an Administrative Assistant, Intermediate to support and direct the flow of work in the Electronic Home Monitoring unit.Current Hennepin County employees who refer a candidate hired into an open competitive position may be eligible for a $500 referral bonus. Investigate and recommend action regarding issues that arise after normal office hours.
Provide work direction and support to case management assistants and probation officer staff as needed.
Review intakes, department email inbox, and workflow including case load review.
Manage the EHM department vehicles and radio equipment.
Review the workflow and end of day quality assurance.
Review and create reports in Power BI.
Review and create reports for CSTS data to include data clean-up.
Need to have:
One of the following:
Six or more years of experience in general administrative work related to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or other field appropriate to the position and two or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Hennepin County driver's permit.

Professionally interact with all criminal justice stakeholders.
Communicate bilingually both verbally and in writing to variety of audiences.
Skills using Microsoft Suite products and knowledge of DOCCR information databases.
Candidates with fluency in another language in addition to English are encouraged to apply. Bilingual candidates who pass a language assessment may qualify for additional bilingual pay and duties.
