GENERAL SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for providing direct management to Inside Sales Representatives. This role is intended to lead those responsible for the sales, enrollment, and retention of both Individual and Small Group businesses. They also understand system technology, evaluating, improving, and managing workflow and processes in the department.
This position is also responsible for understanding the Company's mission, goals, and strategies, and supporting them in day-to-day operations and decision-making. This position will be the lead contact for our forward-facing contacts of Small Group, Individuals, and Brokers.
This position is offered by Abōva Talent, LLC, a subsidiary of Stratacor and an affiliate of Delta Dental of Minnesota.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Training and managing of Sales Representatives with responsibilities of sales, enrollment, and retention of both Individual and Group business.
Provide leadership in selling renewals, running additional proposals through our Broker Rate Calculator (BRC) answering product questions, and providing management with tracking reports.
Day-to-day supervision of Inside Sales Representative staff including training, performance reviews, mentoring, and direction.
Provide weekly enrollment information by plan design, # calls taken in/out, # of chats provided, time on the phone per caller, etc.; full pre-sales lead customer metrics.
Identify and coordinate training opportunities for staff.
Identify and recommend new ancillary plans for distribution.
Participates and represents the department on special corporate projects, committees, and broker presentations.
Stay abreast of competitive environment.
Prepare customer and/or broker presentations.
Provide Sales management annual membership forecasts for the plan budget process.
Manage agency relationships to improve the growth of individual product lines.
Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Prior supervisory experience or equivalent experience/education.
10+ years of industry experience.
Valid Minnesota Health & Life Insurance License
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% in Minnesota, Nebraska, and North Dakota (when safe to do so)
Weight Lifting Requirements: Up to 25 lbs.
