GENERAL SUMMARY
The Web Developer II will share responsibility for our cloud-based applications (primarily using Angular, Node.js, and microservices). As a Web Developer II, you will work closely with the VP of IT and Data Engineering and business partners on business and technical requirements to support the delivery of an optimized Web application for our customers. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop tools, applications, and APIs by producing clean, efficient code
Take ownership of the following Productions/Dev/QA applications: Find a Dentist, Online Store, and Broker Rate Calculator.
Ensure all applications with all of their dependencies are source controlled and that the Read Me-Set up documentation is up to date describing step by step how a new developer should configure the application on their computer.
Create a new document describing the architecture behind each application
Own and manage the CICD pipelines associated with each of the applications
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix bugs and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Other duties - as assigned.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Write code in Angular, Node JS, C#, .Net Core, Docker, HTML, CSS
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix bugs and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent experience is required
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL, Mango)
Strong communication and problem-solving experience
Experience delivering software using an Agile/Scrum methodology
Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
Weight Lifting Requirements: Normal office work, up to 20 lbs.
