Description The Well Being division of the Human Services and Public Health department is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant. This position works in collaboration with management to perform administrative and program/project coordination tasks for the service area. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and the location for this position is flexible and will be at one of the Human Service Centers listed below. Work hours are flexible, primarily days, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4.30 p.m. with occasional after hours to attend meetings. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. North Service Center - 1001 Plymouth Ave N, Minneapolis 55411 South Service Center - 2215 E Lake St, Minneapolis 55407 Northwest Service Center - 7051 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center 55429 Central/NE Service Center - 525 Portland Ave S, Minneapolis 55415 South Suburban Service Center - 9600 Aldrich Ave S, Bloomington 55420 New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022, to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment. Support and coordinate review and implementation of the service area Strategic Plan.
Create, coordinate, and implement/distribute Well Being service area communications, documents, and digital presence.
Coordinate Well Being service area hiring and onboarding process.
Assist with development of service area dashboards and enhancement of data access.
Serve as assistant to the Senior Department Administrator.
Need to have:
One of the following:
Eight or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or other field appropriate to the position and four or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.

Supervising cross-functional initiatives and team members.
