Description
The Enterprise IT Development team is seeking a team-oriented developer to join the FileNet team. Members of this team work together to deliver FileNet functionality to customers countywide. They use an iterative approach to design, configure, develop, test, and ultimately work to deliver customer satisfaction. Location and hours:
This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Based on business needs of this position, hires must live in or relocate to Minnesota.
New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment.

At this time, employees may be eligible to receive an additional cash merit of up to $1,924.93 that can be earned annually based on performance.
In this position, you will:
· Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver FileNet functionality to customers county-wide.
· Configure out of the box FileNet Content Navigator, Case Manager, Enterprise Records, and other tools.
· Write custom apps and plug-ins using Java and JavaScript.
· Provide input with the planning and estimation of work products and projects.
· Write product backlog items to accurately reflect requested work.
· Ensure that solutions meet and exceed customer expectations.
· Participate in all team meetings and collaborate to continually improve team processes and productivity.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o Two years or more of technology experience.
o Two-year college/vocational technical degree in a technology field or an approved information technology certificate.
o Completion of five college/vocational technical technology courses.
o Completion of an approved IT Hennepin County internship and one year or more of technology experience.
o Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology field.
Nice to have:
· Experience:
o With object oriented programming using Java or JavaScript.
o Using J2EE and JSP for web application programming.
o Working with the FileNet suite of tools.
o Automating quality assurance and testing practices.
o Providing technical support, maintenance, or updates on Hennepin County systems.
o With user Experience (UX) design.
· Ability to:
o Work on a collaborative team.
o Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
o Organize and manage time with the capacity to handle multiple, competing tasks.
