Description
The IT Enterprise Development team is seeking an IT Developer I to join the Microsoft 365 team. Members of this team work together to deliver SharePoint custom solutions utilizing Power Platform and SPFx functionality to customers countywide. They use an iterative approach to design, configure, develop, test, and ultimately deliver customer satisfaction. Effective January 1, 2023, there will be a general salary adjustment of 2.5% to the minimum and maximum of the range.
Location and hours: This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site an average of 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as remote, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022 to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment.

At this time, employees may be eligible to receive an additional cash merit of up to $1,832.18 that can be earned annually based on performance.
In this position, you will:
· Work collaboratively with teammates to deliver SharePoint custom solutions to customers county-wide.
· Interpret business needs into solutions based on Hennepin County's standards and industry best practices.
· Provide input with the planning and estimation of work products and projects.
· Partner with functional business users and technical leads to design and deliver quality solutions.
· Participate in peer reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
· Collaborate with other developers in the IT department and other departments to improve overall capability to rapidly create and deploy solutions for residents and customers.
Need to have:
One of the following:
· Two years or more of technology experience.
· Completion of five college/vocational technical technology courses.
· Two-year college/vocational-technical degree in a technology field or approved information technology certificate.
· Completion of approved IT Hennepin County internship and one or more years of technology experience.
· Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology field.
Nice to have:
· Experience:
o Designing and developing customer solutions in SharePoint.
o Developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Azure development tools, Dataverse, or SPFx.
o Using Azure Dev-ops.
o Using PowerShell.
· Ability to:
o Understand and interpret detailed functional and technical specifications.
o Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
o Organize and manage time with the capacity to handle multiple, competing tasks.
