Hennepin County Library is looking to fill an Office Specialist, Principal position at their Library Budget & Finance Office.
Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 12601 Ridgedale Dr. Minnetonka, MN 55305 and remote as job duties require. The hours are flexible with standard hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. While this position is designated as remote based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.About the position type:
o An approved combination of post high school education and office clerical experience to equal at least two years.
Nice to have:
o Working with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word), email, keyboarding, and data entry.
o Working in the Library Budget & Finance Office.
· Ability to:
o Interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
o Respond positively to changes in workload and assignments.
o Work independently with minimal direction.
o Handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
o Interact with managers, co-workers, and volunteers with tact and discretion and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
