This position has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
Our Performance Planner position provides professional planning support and analysis of MnDOT’s performance and risk management program. The responsibilities for this position include:
· Supporting initiatives related to expanding and improving the practice of communicating system performance through data visualization.
· Helps the agency respond to emerging risks facing the transportation system in Minnesota brought by disruptive technologies, climate change, and changes in travel behavior.
· Supports the coordination with MnDOT functional offices, planners, and districts to advance performance measures in the areas of multimodal accessibility, sustainability, and public engagement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology or Political Science OR one year of professional transportation planning experience.
The applicant must also demonstrate the following:
Experience in the theory and practice of performance-based transportation planning.
Experience with performance measures.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
