Our Project Manager Engineer provides overall project management direction from inception to completion of highway improvement projects. The responsibilities for this position also include:
· Utilizes project management processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope
· Engages public agencies and the general public to obtain input and develop informed consent
· Provides overall direction and leadership to technical project teams
· Develops projects to be consistent with MnDOT strategy, commitments, and goals

Here are the minimum qualifications:
Engineer Senior:
Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
Engineer 2 Graduate:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or its equivalency as rated by NCEES/EAC.
A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
Two years post-graduation civil engineering work.
OR
A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or it’s equivalency as rated by NCEES/EAC AND
A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
One (1) year of post-graduate civil engineering work.
OR
Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam.
Required at both the Engineer Senior and Engineer 2 Graduate Level:
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Knowledge of project schedule development.
Valid Class D Driver’s License.
