This position has the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent may be expected to work in the office on occasion.
Our Senior Financial Analyst position provides economic, legislative, and financial analyses to support management’s decision-making and policy development. The responsibilities for this position also include:
· Analyzing the agency’s forecasted cash position and supporting the development of the annual budgets.
· Respond to legislative requests and work with other governmental units on data requests and reports.
· Participate on projects and analyses for MnDOT executive leadership, the Office of Financial Management, and other MnDOT offices and districts.

Here are the minimum qualifications:
Two years of advanced professional experience in financial or business analysis that demonstrates:
Experience analyzing data to determine financial state.
Experience developing financial models, forecasting trends, or providing risk analysis.
Comprehensive experience with financial databases and software (Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, etc.).
A Master’s or Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, or finance may substitute for six months of advanced professional experience.
